I just got this and put it together by myself....no problems although if you don't have any strength or patience, you might want to have someone help. It only took about 30 to 45 minutes. It's nice and solid feeling....for the money it's great quality. I love the large readout and I like that it shows the temperature in the room when the computer thing is not in use. The seat is fairly comfortable to me...lots of people complain about the seats on this type of bike. It's a little noisier than I thought it would be....not the fan noise, but perhaps my chain is not on quite right but everything seems to work. I got it before the price jumped up at $299...now at $374 you might as well go to Academy or some other local store to get it. All in all at this point I like it and am happy I spent the money.

Nice bike for the price, but the seat...

The bike was easy to put together and it's wonderful to use. However, I'm relatively certain the seat is a medieval torture device. I used the bike twice yesterday (morning and evening) for 30 minutes each time. My first day with the bike. By the time I got off of the bike after the second session, my backside was extremely sore. Today, it is impossible to sit in comfort and my lower back and hips are protesting basic movement. I want to use this bike more, but I like being able to sit without my butt hurting. I'm going to try either a gel pad (though a small blanket folded up to make a thick pad didn't help at all) or replacing the seat with one more comfortable, if possible. I refuse to give up!
