I ordered my Vigorfit over a year ago.  Glowing testimonies are easy to write when you’ve only had the product a week, and the shine is still new.  But I figure after a year, I’m well qualified to write a real-life unbiased testimony.

Great gym and the pricing is AMAZING for all that you get

Originally, I was planning on buying a Total Gym, but after searching online for reviews, I stumbled across VigorFit, which I had never heard of. I was drawn to it immediately because a) the pricing is fantastic (especially when they have a promotion running), b) for the price, I got everything the Total Gym was offering and then some, and c) the reviews were quite fantastic overall. After purchasing the only exercise accessory that wasn't automatically included, I was in only a little over $500 for the investment, compared to the $1500 I was willing to spend with Total Gym.

I've had this machine for MANY years. I've moved and lost one in a flood. I've never replaced it with anything else and I'll tell you why.

That takes about 5 to 10 minutes and what sucks about that is the need to do it each ...

I've had a Total Gym for 15 years and just felt I out grew it. I came upon the VigorFit while searching the web for an alternative piece of equipment.

Like many other reviews, I was considering the more expensive Total Gym, then came across the VigorFit and read all the reviews. It almost seemed like "too good to be true" kind of deal, but there was a 30 day return policy, so I made the decision to purchase the VigorFit. While waiting to get the VigorFit, I was getting very nice emails with helpful hints and tips on using it once I got it. Of course, I was very excited to get the gym and when it did come (a Friday ---and was late in the day when I got home from work), I immediately noticed a large hole in the outer box. I opened it and the hole was through the second box. I took out the gym and here whatever punched holes through the boxes went directly into the pad and it had a hole through the covering and wood underneath. You can imagine my disappointment when I discovered this. I hadn't even put it together yet. I immediately emailed VigorFit and to my surprise, the service rep replied and told me they would take care of everything. She said they are actually closed for the day, but take a picture of the damage and send it to her, which I did. She responded quickly (this is around 8PM my time) and she said it's obvious the gym was damaged in shipment. I asked her if it would be okay to go ahead and put it together (which was very easy with the video provided) and she said to certainly put it together and use it. They will file the claim with UPS and send another pad in the meantime. That is exactly what happened. The service rep emailed me that Monday, told me the pad has been sent and proceeded to ask me if I had a chance to try it yet. She wanted to make sure there was no other damage and that I was satisfied. I told her I did get a chance to use it and everything was fine. I can not say enough about this experience. I was expecting the worse as we all have been through difficult service situations, but they were amazing. I am still getting follow ups, helpful hints, very courteous and helpful. I just can't say enough about this. I wish I didn't have to go through the whole damage process, but that was not the fault of anything that VigorFit did. Instead, they made things 100% right and actually I learned that I made the best purchase decision knowing that this company stands behind their product 100% and it's very strongly built (I am 240 lbs) and absolutely no problem with feeling like the gym would be flimsy or cheap,. Great product and service - thank you very much VigorFit---you are an A++ company.

Chuck Norris your machine is now #2

I have had my Vigorfit for about a week now. I have had a Total Gym for the last 20 years or so, and about all I have ever used it for is to warm up before I use the kettlebells for my workout. With the Vigorfit I am getting a very good workout, so much so that I haven't used the kettlebells since I got it. It Came in one big box, and it took me about 45 minutes to assemble, I could have used a third hand, so you might want to have a friend give you a hand, not much but it will go a lot easier. As soon as I got it put together I did a workout, wow!!! what a difference over the Total Gym. Anyone interested in the Total Gym mine is less than a year old,(my 3rd one) and now collecting dust in the corner. The price was right too, about a third of what the TV model of the Total Gym is. I was able to get a leg workout on the Vigorfit since I can pretty much add as much weight to it that I need, and you can get a really great upper body workout too, as you can put on up to 455 pounds of resistance on it. Just wish I had seen the Vigorfit about 20 years ago. I am 68 years old, but I like to stay in Army Ranger shape and this Vigorfit will go a long ways in helping me do that.

We purchased our VigorFit directly from the manufacturer in Oct 2011 based on one of my wife's coworker's recommendations. He had one and loved it. We (not being especially into fitness back then) were not sure about the hype for the stuff sold on TV. The VigorFit has been a solid performer and has held together well. We recently moved and lost a couple of #30 pins so I emailed them to see how much it would cost to replace and they are sending us new ones for free by mail. That is great customer service which they didn't have to do. I can't compare to of the other companies as we've only had the VigorFit but I have to say even after all this time it still works (and looks) as good as the day we got it and that is with both my wife and I using it on almost a daily basis as part of our morning workout routine. Beats a gym membership and no commuting. And I was able to break it down and reassemble for/after the move without much effort all by myself.

Worth it

Nice machine. Waited a few months to make sure of durability and it's held up nicely. Not a fan of the chest press exercise since it also pulls down on my shoulders due to the position of the pulley. Everything else works the various muscle groups nicely. The fact that it has the ability to add weight/resistance is a plus. The pull up attachment is also a nice extra.
