I ordered my Vigorfit over a year ago.  Glowing testimonies are easy to write when you’ve only had the product a week, and the shine is still new.  But I figure after a year, I’m well qualified to write a real-life unbiased testimony.

Great gym and the pricing is AMAZING for all that you get

Originally, I was planning on buying a Total Gym, but after searching online for reviews, I stumbled across VigorFit, which I had never heard of. I was drawn to it immediately because a) the pricing is fantastic (especially when they have a promotion running), b) for the price, I got everything the Total Gym was offering and then some, and c) the reviews were quite fantastic overall. After purchasing the only exercise accessory that wasn't automatically included, I was in only a little over $500 for the investment, compared to the $1500 I was willing to spend with Total Gym.

Worth it

Nice machine. Waited a few months to make sure of durability and it's held up nicely. Not a fan of the chest press exercise since it also pulls down on my shoulders due to the position of the pulley. Everything else works the various muscle groups nicely. The fact that it has the ability to add weight/resistance is a plus. The pull up attachment is also a nice extra.

much better than i had assumed

Ok.. .i thought this thing was stupid when i first set it up but two workouts later, i feel like i don't really need a gym membership anymore. My father spent about a grand on a Total Gym and said it was pretty cool. I just wanted something to use when i was too lazy or didn't have time to get dressed and go to the gym. I'v been a fitness type person for 30 years or so, always been a pretty fit dude..(. i can do about 25 pull ups currently and i regularly go mountain biking on actual mountain biking trails ) Anyhoo .. it seemed too easy at first, like it would never be challenging enough to give me a real workout .. i was wrong. I set it up with most of the resistance bungee cords in place and raised it up to the maximum tilt, gave it a go with all sorts of rows from different angles, then turned around and did presses of all sorts .. 45 minutes later i was completely jacked .. What i really like is that i can definitely feel more muscle groups engaging simultaneously with each exercise .. by core became exhausted without even doing any core specific exercises. As far as legs go, its provides just enough resistance to get my quads pumped. I went to Home Depot and bought some bungee cords that i connect between the bottom base section and the cross bar designed for adding weights... totally not kosher and not at all recommended by the manufacturer but now it actually give me an acceptable leg workout with squats. Its a lot of fitness for the money without a doubt.

Best gym you can get for any amount of money.

I ordered the VigoFit 300 XL and find it probaby one of the best moves i made but i got a deal of a lifetime. I got all of the accessories i would need for a complete workout. I called the customer service about the instructions, and they couldnt have been nicer. I got a quick response all my questions answered. If anyone should ask i would tell them to buy the VigorFit 3000 XL, as that would be all you would need to get back in shape and healthy.

Just get it! Excellent quality for the $

I have had the total gym in the past and this is far more durable and has more resistance, at half the cost! I waited 4 months before posting this short review, because i wanted to be sure it was not a flimsy unit. So far so good! My wife, daughter and I are using this! A friend who works out with me, at the gym was skeptical when he saw this, and after a few exercises, he was impressed with the resistance, smoothness and quality for the price! I bought this as an intermediate unit to be used on off days at the GYM, but have incorporated it as a normal routine. Solid, strong construction, great work out.

This machine is built like a mack truck

I've had this machine for MANY years. I've moved and lost one in a flood. I've never replaced it with anything else and I'll tell you why.

That takes about 5 to 10 minutes and what sucks about that is the need to do it each ...

I've had a Total Gym for 15 years and just felt I out grew it. I came upon the VigorFit while searching the web for an alternative piece of equipment.
I did not buy from Amazon but directly from the company but I wanted to let you know about my experience.
